President Trump demolished Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein today in only the way he can. In case you missed it, Dianne decided to throw Senate rules away yesterday and she, on her own, released a 300-page transcript from the Senate Judiciary Committee’s interview of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson.
She said when she did the deed,
“The only way to set the record straight is to make the transcript public,” Feinstein said before making some wild accusations about “a deeply troubling effort to undermine the investigation into potential collusion and obstruction of justice”
Feinstein wanted the transcripts released and Republican Leaders decided not to, so she, like the arrogant liberal she is and always has been, unilaterally released the transcript.
Arrogant and maybe illegal. Not to mention a shocking break with decorum and Senate rules.
Trump took to Twitter an hour ago and set the record straight and blasted the hapless Feinstein.
Sneaky Dianne Feinstein – Trump is funny of that there is no doubt and he is a genius with nicknames.
Remember, back in May, Feinstein admitted she has seen NO evidence of “collusion” between Pres. Trump and Russia.
According to CBS News:
“In May, Feinstein was asked by CNN whether she’s seen evidence of collusion between Trump campaign associates and Russia. At that time, she replied that she had not.”
President Trump expressed outrage Wednesday at Sen. Dianne Feinstein who defied Republicans and released testimony a day earlier from an interview with the co-founder of Fusion GPS, the firm that commissioned a dossier of allegations about Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia.
Mr. Trump claimed on Twitter that the California Democrat has stated on “numerous occasions” that no collusion took place between his presidential campaign and Russia during the 2016 election. He said that her decision to release testimony was “possibly illegal.”
Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, is up for re-election this year and has served in the Senate since 1992.
A few minutes after his first tweet, Mr. Trump posted another one in which he reiterated that no collusion occurred and that the “single greatest witch hunt in American history continues.”In May, Feinstein was asked by CNN whether she’s seen evidence of collusion between Trump campaign associates and Russia. At that time, she replied that she had not.
